Historical Realism Gun Sound mod 1.82

New stuff:

-Removed the annoying sound with the 155mm guns.
-I don't know.
-I ate pizza for lunch today

NOTE!!!!! THERE IS A NEW WAY TO INSTALL THE MOD! THIS MAY IMPROVE THE PERFORMANCE OF YOUR GAME! PLEASE READ THE README FOR MORE INFORMATION!

The issue was that I forgot to add a very important folder to the download.

1.81 fixes this problem.

New stuff:
-Compatibility with 0.8.7.
-New sound for the 100mm D10 guns.
-New sound for 47mm french guns.
-New sound for all short barreled soviet 76.2mm guns. S-54 will keep the old sound.
-Improved the 155mm T7 sound.
-Improved the exterior firing sound of the 85mm guns.
-Improved the exterior firing sound of the short 37mm guns.

    Yes it doesn't neither at me. It crashes the game to the desktop after the loading screen.

    wenn ihr es erstmal spielen wollt macht in res mods / scripte / item_defs / vehicles / macht in USSR und UK die DATEIN GUNS Raus denn startet auch das spiel wieder , bis sie eine lösung haben !

    Yeah this mod sadly doesn't work, got the crash to desktop and i'd like to mention that i'm not new to modding.. i did it exactly as was explained in the readme, then tried the old and true way, nothing works. So yeah this is definatly *not* compatible with 8.7.

    I had the no gun sound bug aswell..

    I deleted the files I put in (the gun sound mod) - Put the gun sound mod files in, anew. Then copied the Audio folder from the "Res" folder into Res_mods folder. Seemed to do the trick for me.

      Doesn't make a difference other than decreasing FPS by a little after 1.81.

    Greetings ~

    I always upgrade this sound mod, whenever a new one/update/hotfix is released, as I have tried many others, but always come back to this one...

    (note 01):
    If a warning is place by the author, explaining that its not compatable (I wait) until the game client is upgraded, so that it WILL BE compatible...

    (note 02):
    The install has (always) been the same for me, so this new install method (is actually) old, I am assuming because it different in other countries (I could be wrong)...

    (note 03):
    I should point out, that I am using 8.6 currently, and what I did was the following...

    Followed the instructs...

    1. This update didn't work, but I installed the new sound files into the - res > audio folder - as usual (as well making a back-up of the audio folder before installing the new files)

    2. I removed the new scripts, as I noted that those crashed the game...
    ¬ if the game crashes, its more than likely (a script thats causing the crash) and I thought I'd try using the old/previous version of the script... which I did.

    3. ran the game, and it worked perfectly..

    I don't know if this method will work for everyone, but for me, it worked.


    As always, GREAT SOUND MOD and I'll be keeping watch for any updates!

      ~ I should also add that when 8.7 goes into effect on Monday...

      I shall change the scripts back to the original 8.7 version, as indicated for this mod, so things should go along smoothly once completed.

    Hi first of all thanks for the effort you put into this. Just a small question, i can remember an older version for 0.8.5 had the track sound of a tank, i mean not the engine but the just the tracks. What do i have to do to put those tank tracks sounds back into your new version?

    Mod itself is amazing, but am I the only one, who thinks that insine the gun volume is soooooo high? almost blasted my plant off the speaker...

      Then, wouldn't you be more specific and tell me WHICH of these 90mm's lacks sounds? Because according to the scripts, there are none that I've come over that lacks sounds.

    Hi,
    After installing there is no 'ambience' sounds (water, birds, etc) or engine noise, but voice and gun noises are there?

    Hey, first of all i really love your soundmod, but can you please change the sounds of the american high tier TDs back to what it was? That little "shrill" sound after each shot is driving me insane, didn't even touch my T110E4 after installing the mod, but i love the other sounds so much i don't want to deinstall it again... (maybe you can tell me which files to change / delete to get the standard sounds for those Guns if you don't want to change it back?).

    i've run into a problem using this mod, been working fine since i installed it, but stopped working after i installed a hangar mod. tried to re-install the sound mod but after 4 attempts nothing has worked. tried placing the mod in both res/audio and res_mods/audio but still nothing. hangar was removed too but even then nothing works, sound mod is broken for good until a hotfix or 8.8 is released
