I have a little suggestion. That Tiger I was my very first 1:35 model (I bought a Tamiya, long time ago...). If I remember well, the early model, the one who fought in Tunisia, was fully painted with dark green, like this one: http://www.tamiya.com/english/products/26525tiger1/index.htm In fact, I don't know if any of the few Tigers who fought in Tunisia was painted with the classic dark yellow Afrika Korps scheme, because Tunisia had, by that time, grass, not sand. That's why they applied green camo, not yellow. Of course I might be wrong, but anyway, those are my 2 cents.
Some say it is the best historical restoration: they used the same pattern originally found in the tank, which was a "medium green" over a "sand brown" pattern. Others say that, in fact, that green was a thin layer of olive drab, captured from US troops. Who knows.
Ahaa that's because the gray is basically the default skin with the wheels converted to the early type, i did not even know the headlamp had been removed.
the credits are a bit confusing here, as I did the textures for the filters on both versions and modified the wheels on the gray, the desert skin had already been done and crimson did the turret to match.
I believe its linked to the dropbox acc so I can have it fixed soon as I'm done packing up the pz1
For some reason who you die the turret number changes to Tigerr 1332, which fought near Kursk. Is this a glitch, or a different skin? If so how to I get it to be that number premanantly(Tiger 1332 is my fav tank model that I have)?
Now i noticed :) If i only this mod it works fine, i tried to use it with the open hatch one but the wheels from this one change to default. The problem is when you mix these mods, it give you something but it takes away from the other.
Anyway, keep up the good work, the Tiger definetly needs more attention in this game.
If you are still active modding, you can look on Facepunch, they are porting stuff from ALL games (models, textures, sounds etc), you could find there some great assets to bring them to WOT (don't forget the Tiger tho hahaha)
If it would be as easy as counter strike source to mod, i would definetly help but this game is giving me a headache when it comes to modding.
Awesome remodeling mod! I am using the grey version. but I cannot see the DDS file that was applied on the turret. My Tiger is colored black but thats cupola is still grey. How can I do?
hey, the gun mantle is also broken on this model too, the triangle cheeks stick through it because it is set about 6 inches back into the turret
ReplyDeleteyou can see it in the screenshots
thanks for letting us know, it's fixed now

I am currently working on an alternate 'Tunisian' themed skin based on the suggested photos.
