Template for HRGS

I decided to upload the template with most of the sounds I use included.

You have to get the others with an FSB Extractor, which you can find Here.

Why? Because I'm too lazy to find all of the sounds that I haven't added to an archive. :P

Well, here's the download with the scripts included.

Don't even bother about it if you have no experience with FMOD. I will not put up any instructions about it as there's so much to explain.

Historical Realism Mod Gun Sounds v1.21

New stuff.

-0.8.2 compatibility

-EXTREME MAKEOVER OF THE SOUNDS! They have more bass and sound, and can be heard at a longer distance!

-Added 100mm sound for top tier soviet guns.

-Added 122mm sound for top tier soviet guns.

-Added autoloading sound for the mentioned soviet guns.

-Added 130mm sound.

-NEW SUPEREPICNOVABBQ tracer for high caliber artillery guns.

-New explosion sounds.

-New hit sounds for large caliber guns.

-Adjusted so that original hit sounds is intergrated with my hit sounds.

-A handy feature: Most premium ammo will use original sounds. This may help you out of many premium round situations.

-Added 105mm L7 autoloader sound for the T54E1's top gun.

-No need for the hotfix anymore to get the tracers. Sorry Crabtr :( Hope you loved your fame as long as it lasted!

-I have no idea if there's more.

-Oh, sure it is! New 155mm Anti-tank sound for sniper mode! :D

-And added 85mm sound

-That should be it. Now let me listen to some Manneheim Steamroller Christmas music while I drink mulled wine! >:C

In v1.21

-Forgot to add the scripts for the 85mm in v1.2. They are now added.

-New 88mm L71 sound and reloading sound from MW212.

-Added 20pdr sound which uses the old L71 sound

*please note that the location mentioned in the readme on where to extract my sounds is wrong. It should be just res_mods instead of 0.8.2

Good luck translating this with a straight face, Russian friends! :P

Also, I recommend enabling Bass Boost and Loudness Equalization for the best experience!

To do this go to(Windows 7) Control Panel>Sound>right click *your sound device*>Properties>Enhancements and tick the boxes for Bass Boost and Loudness Eqalization.

The KV-1C, captured by Germans with a cupola of PzIII/IV and KwK 40 L/43 75-mm gun.
Update: v 1.1 - changed it to conversion mod with icons, names and german cross on the turret while stickers aren't disabled by mod.

The default german-gray skin.

Two turrets: without box - stock one, with stowage box - upgraded one


Icons fixed by nordvarg, I've only added cupola and stowage box to big one.
Camo skin will be available later.

Was playing with ideas with the bmw model that comes free when you get 3ds max, not really practical let alone period, If I ever bang a gun on it I may post it for the hell of it hehehe

had fun jumping this of things on the test server though YYYEE haww

Historical Realism Gun Sounds

So I have finally finished the gun sounds for the "longly awaited" sound pack.

This include sounds from:

Forgotten Hope 2.45 for Battlefield 2

Forgotten Hope 0.7 for Battlefield 1942

Forgotten Hope Secret Weapons 0.42 for Battlefield 1942

Battlefield 1942

Battlegroup42 1.8 for Battlefield 1942

The sound pack features a bunch of .xml files which will give each gun a unique sound. Well, atleast there is a greater variety of gun sounds.

Please note that the mod is not final and I could need some feedback about each gun sound and if there are any sounds you want replaced or changed.

Flakpanzer T-34


The hypothetical captured T-34 tank with 88mm Flak gun on it. Conversion mod of GW Panther

 Added icons made by nordvarg. I just need to test it as GW Panther now, and wait for some skin for it (since it's using Pz T34 747(r)'s hull, propably that'll do the trick with changing the gun/turret textures)

KV-3 turret change

It's a quick change of turret and guns, so the second turret of KB-3 looks like first one of KB-4. Why I'm doing this? I don't like this round one :)

Should be ready soon enough.

Skirted T-34/76

Added Foxdie's skirts to my T-34/76 mods.
Since 7.5 - removed changes in second turret, since guns were wrong

I was considering where to put log armor and where sandbag. And I've come to conclusion that best will be doing something like visible below to the M3

Plus of course crew to open top turret.

M4A3E2 Sherman Jumbo /field mod

Changelog: added frontal sandbag armor, removed mudflaps, both turrets provided with MG's, addes some bags on top for unbuttoned crew protection, second one provided with cage and sandbag armor. Decals on screens are from M36B1, in package this tank is depicted as no. 30661923, from 66th armored regiment of 2nd armor division, company C, column order 25. Two types of chassis to choose from, with standard and widened tracks.

Mod that changes T-34/85 into T-34/88, since some of you wanted me to do it. The 8.8cm gun is used for second 85mm (closest penetration and soon it will be the best gun on T-34/85).
