Historical Realism Gun Sound Mod V1.33

 New in v1.33

-Reverted the tracers of large calibre guns back to the old ones.

-Added the exterior firing sound for the 105mm L7 for the interior to give the impression that it actually is a gun firing off.

 New in v1.32t*:

-Yet another atempted fix of the Canon de 155 mm de 33 calibres' issue where the shells wouldn't load after battle.

-Fix for some of the Soviet self propelled gun's weight were incorrect and caused conflicts with mounted modules.

*t meaning test, and that it's just a regular release if the listed issues above is fixed.

-Fixed the missing 20pdr sound.

-Fixed the issue with the Canon de 155 mm de 33 calibres shells inability to load after a battle.

-Changed the range of the debris hitting the ground after an explosion.

-Hopefully fixed an issue with the SU-26's 122mm Howitzer mod. 1930's range.

    1. It's because there is a specific shell type that has no sounds, because I manage to give the "sound path" an incorrect name.

      I have yet to find what shell causes no sound.

  8. french artillery tier 5 had 1 type of ammo removed, when using this mod there are still 3 types of ammo in the garage and it makes impossible to load ammunition.

  11. Great mod, but with the new one today is the BatChat 25t's top gun not making any firing sound for anyone else? I just hear the reload.

  12. I get a very loud and bad reverberation sound in my left headphone speaker whenever a certain tank fires. I think it's the SPGs, however, I'm not entirely sure. I've only encountered it in low tier matches so far.

    1. I've been getting something like this, it's similar to the popping I got in my left headset from fireworks going off in the holiday garage. I think it's SPG shells exploding causing it.

    2. This bug is common for 7.1 headsets and can be fixed by changing the speaker setup.

    3. Wargaming for some reason managed to FUBAR 7.1 sound in 8.2, so mods and fireworks will have this issue.

  13. For some reason... my in game music and the engine sounds are not working. I've tested it numerous times removing other mods that i have etc, just no sound/music other than the guns firing and hitting the ground. Am i the only one experiencing this?

    1. Yeah, the automatic 105mm guns lost their sounds because I wasn't aware that the source sounds for their event was corrupted.

  18. hi thank you for performed job, but I meet a problem with my artillery French when I install me cannot recharge ammunitions any more and I have one icon too that of the bombs explosive which normally disappeared with 8.3 ..

  20. I found this mod will cause the AMX13 F3 AM cannot reload ammo after battle even I am using the V1.31

    I think the problem is in this file

    res_mods\0.8.3\scripts\item_defs\vehicles\common

    but I am not sure it is form the gun_effects, shot_effects or the vehicle_effects

    anyway, thanks for your work and hope to see the new update soon

Btw you've got the weights for the S-51's guns wrong in scripts\item_defs\vehicles\ussr\components\guns.xml and its causing the S-51 to show as over its load limit and making you unable to change out any modules (unless you drop your equipment out). The correct values are 152mm BR-2 = 5720kg and 203mm BR-4 = 5200kg

  25. Don't know how with S-51 - maybe someone else can confirm - but Lorraine's gun is fixed and displays only one type of premium ammo now. All sweet.

  28. In 1.31 version of HRMOD, probably in 1.32 too. BatChat 25t in sniper mode, sound of 105mm gun is sounds very strange, it's don't shoot, only reload... There is a BUG?

  30. There is a problem with guns.xml in french vehicles - Vth tier arty is unable to load ammo with 2nd cannon.The problem is as follows - in guns.xml there are 3 kinds of ammo,where in game are 2...Please correct this as soon as possible.

  31. With all large caliber guns (155mm and up) all I hear is the tracer and not the actual gun sound. Is there any way you can tone down the sound of the tracers for when they leave the gun or a way you can increase the sound of the gun itself?

I really like gun sound mod but, sad for this, often think to unistall for a reason: all incomin shells sounds are similar, but is really important know clearly & immediatly when under arty fire. Is possible change and lower the sound of other tanks incomin' shells (manually by me or in a 1.xx version). minor issue: the is7 firin sound look like short as cutted. good hunt, Berto72 RBCAD Clan

  34. Gnomefather, if the engine mod is no more updated (because that crap AQJC has more diversity), will the Gun Sound mod continue to be updated ?
    Actually, HR Gun Sound has more diversity than the gun sounds of this crap concurrent (which has more bugs than this one :D )...

    in the python.log i found this error:
    'scripts/item_defs/vehicles/ussr/SU-85.xml/effects/destruction': missing or wrong effect name

    how do i fix it?

  41. I installed all of the mod files in the correct fashion but now i'm faced with a problem i just cant figure out.

    All of my sounds work, EXCEPT the gunfire, report from distance, and shell travel.

    Everything else like the Explosions, impacts, Tank deaths work, the ONLY thing that's not working is the actual firing sounds, the shell travel, and the report.

    does anyone have a fix for it? Because i've done all i can and nothing's working - i'm starting to get pissed/down about it.
