  3. Have a trouble with this Historical Realism Gun Sound Mod v1.41: Sound scratches with my Razer Megalodon (7.1 headphones + sound card). On common speakers or headphones world of tanks works well (with mod and without mod). On Razer Megalodon without mods all work well, with mods some sound playing with scratches, almost impossible to play. Can you help me?

    1. It happends to all headsets with 7.1 surround, including mine newly acquired Corsair 1500.

It's fixed by turning off 7.1 and setting it to stereo.

I cannot fix it as it's most likely an issue with the game code that is written in Python(just like a bug with custom engine sounds), and I have no experience with Python at all!

  7. absolutely love this mod. that being said, where did the tracer and reload sounds go from 1.33? I really liked those, much more realistic whizzing sound.

    1. Russians didn't like it, but screw them. According to some dude on the NA forum who had been in the Marine, he told me that they sounded pretty close to 105mm and 155mm rounds that have fled above his head.

If they don't like realistic sounds they can always return to the default ones.

      1.5 will have them returned.

  12. Hello , i loved this mod in 8.4 . but in 8.5 afetr install it crashed back to desktop on the loading bar screen. Think i narrowed it down to the scripts folder. as removing that got the game running but without the sound files working.

Can you help with this please , I'm probably being stupid :D

    2. yep, same here.... :-(
any mod that comes with a "scripts" folder crashes to desktop.
Probably to get rid of evil mods like Sniper view for arty and stuff ....grrmbll...
I really hope someone clever comes up with a way to fix that, because that soundmod was AWESOME!!
I loved hearing that loader work his nuts off when I blasted away in my Wolverine :-)

And, btw., @Magnus ferdinand: I once had 105mm shot over my head, too, and this mod was as close to the original sound as I ever heard anything. Not even cinema gets that unnerving whizzle right Thumbs up for the mod and let´s hope it´ll go again!
