M36 Slugger /field mod

Changelog:
  1. Hull - added sandbag armor supported by two logs, and a set of sprare road wheels to the front, added two tarps to the rear part os left side;
  2. Stock turret - added crew (yay ^^), corrected MG position, added rolled tarp to right side;
  3. Upgraded turred - same changes as to stock and removed top covers, added some sandbags for crew protection instead;
  4. Texture - unit marked as vehicle no. 40107895 of 82nd Airborne, 703rd TD battalion, company A, added american stars (recognizable from distance ^^) to the side of turrets
You might want to have remove default decals so they don't overlap. To install just copy archive contents to your wot root folder. This is normal model only, crash will be released later (have to be done first :P). Cheers!

  1. serpenta, could you possibly remove that ugly son of a bitch muzzle brake from the second turrets gun? Its bothered me ever since i got the tank 6 months ago

    1. You can just swap models for that. Copy "gun_03.primitives" from the original package (res/packages/american.pkg) and copy it to res_mods Slugger folder, then rename to "gun_06.primitives" and voila :)

  2. Will the top covers be back on the second turret ?
    That make some trouble when using HE :P

  3. Can someone help me? I have problem with crew. I have sandbags,MG everything is OK but my crew- i can see just black persons-no colours or something like that just black soldiers. Where is a problem?

    1. You need to use high texture quality to run US crew mods correctly. If your graphics card can't stand it, we're sorry but we haven't found out how to make it running with lower settings. Doufám, že to je pro Vás dobrá odpověď :)

    2. Oh that is simple, the crew dds files have not been saved with mip maps enabled, that is why it they only show texture on high settings, typically that is only done on purpose to reduce black lines when using the alpha test script, but can not see why that would be used on the crew

    3. but... i downloaded skin on Tiger with commander-and it worked. Where is difference? German commander was workind and US crew not?

    8. I have a lot on, and I am pretty slow, I was thinking of crewing my m41 with my new camo net idea but that could take a while.

      also I am not happy with any of the soldier models i have right now, as I can't find better I will have to make or mod something better.
